Designer-reported prototype observations. The 6 h 45 min record includes warm-up and ends while the device is still operating. Its starting battery charge was not stated. It does not establish its final shutoff time or an independent certification.

AUGUST 2026 · DIFFERENT FILL & LID CONDITION

About six hours. Uncovered.

Historical full-charge observation: 500 ml water, approximately 25°C starting temperature, 55°C target, approximately 25°C room, lid off. Around six hours of warmth was recorded. The earlier source explicitly approved presenting this observation with its conditions.

This is a separate earlier experiment. It is not the later 777 ml, lid-on observation.

EARLIER PROTOTYPE OBSERVATION

777 ml. Lid off.

An earlier engineering record reports approximately 3 h 54 min, with 777 ml, 55°C target, approximately 53–54°C starting water and 25°C room, lid off. The 9 September 2026 log ran from 14:06 to 18:00; the display reached 55°C at 14:22, leaving approximately 3 h 38 min before stop. Initial charge was not stated.

Earlier measured empty weight was 1,085 g; adding 777 ml of water gives an estimated filled weight of approximately 1,862 g. These are dated prototype values; final production weight remains unconfirmed.

Earlier results may describe different prototypes, fills and operating conditions. They are preserved individually, without combining them into a universal runtime or speed claim.

A useful comparison begins with a useful method.

Same question.
Visible conditions.

  1. Identify the hardware.

Name the product, model, firmware if relevant and prototype or production status. A current Ember Mug 3 is different from an earlier Mug 2.

  2. Record the starting point.

Use the same fill, drink, starting temperature, target, room temperature, lid and starting battery state where possible. State any mismatch.

  3. Keep holding and reheating separate.

A hot-start holding test answers a different question from warming room-temperature water. Charging and heating also need separate observations.

  4. Define the endpoint.

Report when the drink leaves the target band, when the device stops, or when the test ends. “Still operating” is not the same as total runtime.

  5. Publish what you observed.

Show elapsed time, measurements and conditions. Keep your own conclusions independent, including inconveniences and trade-offs.

Materials and care records.

Designed thoughtfully.
Verified step by step.

Interior metal
Development sources describe 316-series stainless steel; some earlier records use SUS316 / SUS316L. Confirm the final declaration before a production claim.
Current washing
Hand wash. No microwave. Follow supplied instructions; keep electrical areas protected as instructed.
Dishwasher suitability
Not validated. Hand wash and follow the supplied care instructions, including any finish-specific guidance.
Water resistance
The lid helps resist drink splashes during normal upright use. Whole-mug waterproofing is not established. Do not submerge; inverted bag-carry protection is not established.
Customization
Options to discuss include engraving, UV relief on the mug and UV crystal-transfer decoration on packaging. Feasibility and care depend on the design.
